Dr. Dan WaiteDr. Dan Waite is Executive Director of Intercultural Affairs, Chair of the International Studies Department, and a faculty member in the School of Arts and Sciences at Concordia University, Irvine. In his current role as Executive Director of Intercultural Affairs he co-chairs Concordia’s Hispanic-Serving and Minority-Serving Institution Initiatives. Dr. Waite has extensive research and program development experience in the fields of experiential learning, study abroad, and cross-cultural training. He has developed new models of curriculum and programming for urban service and project-based learning programs in the U.S., and helped establish innovative models of study abroad and global campuses in Asia, Europe, and Africa. Dr. Waite’s current research focuses on emerging models of active, experiential learning and the future of higher education. He is passionate about helping millennials develop the 21st century skills and competencies that can position them for impact in the workplace and society.
